Dark Mode On / Off

Hello there! I’m Chloe.

Posing in front of a lovely flower backdrop in New York City.

I write software documentation by day, so I can afford the plane tickets for my next trip. I snatch any and all vacation days and long weekends to fly off somewhere (it doesn’t have to be far. It just has to be a good place to visit).

It’s my top priority to see a new place every year and to make lasting memories. Good memories are all I can take to my deathbed. Therefore, finding the roads best travelled, eating the best foods, and meeting great people, are what I intend to take with me when the time comes for me to say good-bye.

All that morbidity aside…

Why did I start this blog?

Travelling is such a gift and a privilege. I’ve been fortunate to have parents who believed that seeing the world, and getting to know different cultures, was a good thing. I want to pay that good fortune forward by encouraging others to see the world for themselves by sharing simple, practical, yet stylish travel guides.

A charming spot in an old growth forest in Canada.

What can you expect from my travel guides?

Travelling is exhilarating, but also intimidating at times too. I try to produce helpful travel guides that tell you how to get somewhere, the best places to stay, where to eat, and what to see and do. I try to give practical travel advice, but also encouragement to those who might be hesitant to travel and don’t know where to start. I want my readers to walk away feeling prepared and inspired to find the roads best travelled.

So read the posts, be inspired by the photos, and let me know where your next travel destination will be.

Happy travels,

Chloe
